More About


Oliver Pitschner is a 23 year old Toronto based playwright slash
designer and occasional photographer working in the performing arts.
In his work, he explores themes of youth culture, the family unit, fate,
religious fundementalism, and transsexual liberation, often through the
lenses of comedy, camp, and surrealism. He currently daylights as a theatre
arts adminstrator and marketing specialist, working for the Toronto Fringe
Festival. Recently, his one act play Behold, A Man! was the recipient of Space
Space Revolution’s 2023 Scholarship. His work as a production designer has
been awarded in a number of film festivals, and his photography is featured in
magazines such as FEELS mag (Toronto),Same Faces Collective (NYC), and
COSY mag (webzine). He is a recent graduate from OCADU, earning a B.Des. 
Catch his new play The Other Paris at the Red Sandcastle Theatre, coming
this  may 2024.
