More About


Oliver Pitschner is a 21 year old transgender Toronto based
production designer slash playwright and photographer working
in theater. He explores themes of youth culture, identity, disability,
fate, irony, and mysticism through the lenses of comedy, camp,
and surrealism. He currently daylights as a theatre arts adminstrator,
working at the Toronto Fringe Festival. Recently, his one act play
Behold, A Man! was the recipient of Space Space Revolution’s
2023 Scholarship. His work as a production designer has been
awarded in a number of film festivals, and his photography
is featured in magazines such as FEELS mag (Toronto), Same Faces
Collective (NYC), and COSY mag (webzine). He is a recent graduate
from OCADU, earning a B.Des.
