More About

Oliver Pitschner is a playwright, director, and arts administrator based in
so-called Toronto. He is the founder of Ghost Tower Theatre Company, an
independent company in its first year exploring themes of youth culture, the
family unit, fate, religious fundamentalism, and transgender liberation. Ghost
Tower’s flagship production The Other Paris went on to a sold out run at the
Red Sandcastle Theatre earlier this spring. He is an arts administrator, currently
working for the Toronto Fringe Festival. His wide variety of artswork experiences
outside of the Fringe include digital marketing for Fall for Dance North,
community consulting for Theatre Passe Muraille, set design interning for
Buddies in Bad Times, and essay writing for Xpace Cultural Centre. He is
currently working on his messy queer audio drama collaboration with Around +
Out Theatre Company, and can usually be found cooking his friends dinner or
out dancing to post punk.
